I was looking through my SU Christmas sets tonight and thinking that you might be tired of my favorite, Peaceful Wishes. Then I looked at my Pick a Petal set, and I saw ornaments! Maybe it's a bit of a stretch, but it was fun to play with this set in a different way. I used craft ink on the three petals so that I could use Glassy Glaze embossing powder to make them shine. Next I embossed a couple of the doodle-y flower centers in Sterling Silver embossing powder on silver metallic paper and cut out the tops of my ornaments.
I took some eye hooks, cut them off short, and bent then into hooks. I considered stamping spruce branches for these to hang from, but I thought that it might look cluttered. I finally settled upon the SU Dashing paper as my background, with the sentiment being from PaperTrey Ink's Holiday Treats set. That's my out-of-the-box contribution for the week.
