PaperTrey New Releases
How about simply an eye-candy post tonight? I've posted all of the details regarding marker colors, inks, and paper in the PaperTrey forum here if there's something that you'd like to know. I thought I'd pick some of my favorites to share here.
First, I'm enjoying the new Kraft cardstock! I love to pair it with Aqua Mist and shabby it up a bit. Candice's Birds of a Feather set is very basic and simple to use. Here I paired it with the PTI Out on a Limb set, one of my favorite sets. (A close-up picture is here.)
Next, Lisa's Flower Garden set: I couldn't decide whether to show you the one I stamped the outline of and colored in, or the one that I used the solid stamps on, so here are both.
I have one more Boards and Beams project, a small framed piece. The color scheme may be stretching it a bit, but I wanted to use the new cardstock colors. We'll call it Victorian. (Ahhhh, the things we're allowed to do on paper!) There's a close-up of the little house here if you'd like to see it.
Finally, I have a little 4"x 4" notecard that uses Guidelines and Birds of a Feather, along with a bit of glitter and ribbon and some Spellbinders Nested Circle dies. (If you're wondering how to line circles up, I cut the darker/larger piece first, then penciled in a line on the lighter/smaller piece after getting it lined up properly. I used that penciled line to determine the outside perimeter of the smaller circle die.)
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Just beautiful, Debbie! I really like that Birds of a Feather set. Your cards convinced me that I "need" to add that set to my cart. The Boards and Beams is nice, too, I love what you've done with it. Thanks for sharing. Now, go get some rest...I have a feeling you've been up for quite a while.~Be blessed!~Barb

Debbie - all the cards are beautiful! I love how you put the two sets together in the first card, and that you showed us both of the flower garden! Thanks!!

You have to show us one more of the flower garden set, with the outline image around the solid image. All of these are lovely, even your Painted Lady!

Beautiful projects, you've convinced me I need to buy all the new stamp sets, I was on the fence about the bird set but after seeing what you did with the nest I am sold. There were people who lived stightly out of our old home town who painted their house purple, not muted purple but hurt your eyes almost crash the car when you saw it for the first time, type purple so anythng goes in house paint I guess.

Adorable cards Debbie! I always look forward to seeing what you do with the new release. When I was a kid growing up in Ann Arbor, our next door neighbor (in our conservative neighborhood) painted their house Pepto Bismol pink. Oh my. The things you can get away with in A2....even back in 1968. LOL

Beautiful on all accounts! I can't wait to get my sets. I was nearly in the same boat as some of the other commenters not getting them all. At the last minute I decided all of them must come home -- I have never done that before. This month was outstanding as a release and I thank you for all of the ideas!
