I'm trying to get a post done quickly before the PaperTrey Ink Blog Hop deadline is over--in between fixing dinner for company tonight! This month's PTI blog hop involved using a CD case for anything other than its original purpose. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the participants come up with tonight because I have two whole boxes of CD cases here.
Mine is a simple calendar, printed from this site, cut apart, and layered with some PaperTrey stamp images and my photographs. (Sets shown: Pond Life, Floral Frenzy, and Snowflake Serenade). I created a little calendar page on both the back and the front of six sheets of cardstock cut to 4-3/4" square.
For the CD case, I added clear Dew Drops all around the edges. While I would love to have used ribbon, most of my pictures are boy pictures, and I knew that I needed to keep the thickness of the embellishments to a minimum if the pages were all going to fit into the back of the CD case.
PTI fans have until late tonight to leave a link here in the PaperTrey forum if they are participating. Have a great evening!
