Fall is definitely in the air here! Tonight I pulled out some Cosmo Cricket Haunted papers (Gothic and Macabre) to use with my Indian Corn stamp (Lockhart) and Floral Frenzy sentiment (PaperTrey Ink). I love the rich Fall colors on these papers, and the Halloween pattern is subtle enough on several of the papers that that they can be used for general Fall cards too.
After sanding a couple of the background pieces and sewing them together, I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Neenah Natural White cardstock and colored it with the Copic markers shown below. I used the Spica Glitter pens to add some shimmer to individual corn kernels, as well as to the leaves and stalks.
The main image was cut and embossed with a new-release Spellbinders die, the Labels Small die. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat-embossed it with vanilla embossing powder before cutting and embossing it with a Classic Oval die. I used a Stampin' Up punch (slit or slot--I can't keep them straight!) to make a place for the PaperTrey Plum Pudding twill to run through the focal image, then attached it with black mini brads to tie in with the black patterns on the Gothic paper.
That's it--pretty straightforward.
I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend!
