Little Boy-Bot Card

Jrs_cc_do_bmonog1

My son keeps looking at all of the cards and wondering where the boy cards are.  Today I made a monogrammed card especially for him. He loves the Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo papers and blackboard, so I thought that I would incorporate them, along with his first initial and some descriptive words to his liking. I had to sneak in a bit of ribbon, as well as bling in the form of glitter; but I think I'll get by with them since it's masculine ribbon and glitter! ;-)

Jrs_cc_do_bmonog1dtl For the monogram letter, I chose some Just Rite Stampers Pre-Inked Upper Case Outline letters so that I could color them with my Copic markers to coordinate with the paper. (I used YG11 and B93 in the Copics.) The little words on the top half are from the JRS Pre-Inked Small Words collection. (By the way, all of the pre-inked products are on sale right now for half off, if you would like to participate in the current contest.) I've had these here for a while and hadn't opened them, but he found them while rummaging through my craft room this week and had a ball making a card for a sweet little girl. . . (I wish I'd taken a picture before he gave it to her; he asked to use my Copic Airbrush on it. Trust me--he was supervised very carefully. His professional opinion on airbrushing: there's nothing to it--anybody can do it. :-D)

This was  a fun card to make, and I know that my son will think it's cool!

Question about the Just Rite pre-inked alphabet stamp you used here. The descriptions at Just Rite are not terribly clear - does the price contain the entire alphabet?

What a clever card! I think it's worthy of being framed and hung on the wall. But then again, I think that about ALL your cards!
