It's been a few months since I made a baby card--how about one of those tonight? I started with this sweet little shoe stamp from the Just Rite Stampers Harmony Classic Oval III. I used Rich Cocoa Memento ink for the shoes and Pink Petunia Versamagic ink for the sentiment. I colored the shoes with the Copic markers pictured below and then cut them out and mounted them with foam tape for added dimension.
Papers are from Cosmo Cricket's Little Girls Biography 101 Paper Crafting Kit, Secrets and the back of Picnic. (This was the first Cosmo Cricket collection that I ever fell in love with!) I cut the oval focal image with my Spellbinders Classic Oval die, the largest oval die in the S4 112 set, to be specific. The lacy edge is punched with a Martha Stewart punch and sewn on. Mini brads are Vintage Gold brads from StarLitStudio. Ribbon is May Arts silk. (I'm so excited--I just ordered some wider silk ribbon from Cindy! I love how silk ribbon ties, but I've had only the 3/8" wide ribbon so far. Cindy had some 1" ribbon in stock, so I decided that I should help stimulate the economy and order some. ;-D)
By the way, if you're still looking for gifts for a stamper-friend, I also saw tonight when I was linking the stamp used here, that Just Rite has several products at 25% off, all listed in this blog post. I hope that helps somebody!
Thanks for visiting.
