A Friend Loveth at All Times: CPS 98

Cps98_sns_ss_do1dtl_2 This week's CPS98 Sponsor was Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. I chose Korin's new Love of a Friend set, knowing that I'd probably have plenty of occasions to use it.

In keeping with my resolve to actually use some of the pretty papers that I've collected and stored, I chose some K & Company Blue Awning paper to help showcase the Proverbs 17:17 stamped image. I also used a Spellbinders Classic Oval Nestability as well as the Labels 1 die.

Inks were Stampin' Up's Night of Navy and Ranger's Antique Linen Distress pad. The 1/2" seashell silk ribbon is from StarLitStudio, and the pearls from Ellen Hutson, LLC. Buttons are some Autumn Leaves Foof-a-La buttons.

This is  a great little CPS sketch to play with if you would like to join us!

Your complete list of supplies is truly a superior part of your wonderful blog. Thank you so very much for taking the time to catalog and list the supplies. It is so instructive, especially for new stampers. And may I say that the color combination in this card is perfectly beautiful. Not to mention the sentiment. this is just gorgeous!

I have stayed away from square cards just cause of the postage issue. When I look at this gorgeous card, I think I'm stupid. I am going to TRY and get out of my old A2 box down here under the bridge and live a little. That means that I'll need to try and USE some of the embellishments that I have stashed, too. I'm already a troll, so how much more of a monster could you create, Debbie? Thanks for a much needed push in the creative direction.
