It's been a busy week here. I'm helping with the 3-5 year old class in our summer VBS at church this week. We've had at least eighteen little munchkins the last couple of nights from 6 to 8:30--long night for young ones, and even longer for us older codgers. . . Whew!
Thankfully, I had a card ready, or I wouldn't have had a post for tonight. This is a simple card made with PaperTrey Ink's new
Autumn Abundance set, paired with
In Bloom papers and Scarlet Jewel grosgrain. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo black ink on Stampers Select White cardstock, and colored it with the
Copic markers pictured below--almost all available in
PaperTrey trio sets. I
love this image--it's perfect to color!
I used a
Spellbinders Labels Three die cut, matted with a Classic Circle die cut. The tag is a Double Ended Tags die cut, cut to the length that I needed it after I stamped the sentiment.
Coloring hint on the tiny petals: Don't worry about getting some lighter and some darker initially. Just go back in and touch a petal here and there with your clear blender and it will fade lighter in a few seconds. Don't overdo it--a touch is usually enough. It will fade more after you lift your clear blender.
