Edited to add: I have had several questions about where to find the Motts apple cider packets. I found them at Econo Foods in Iron Mountain, Michigan, a local grocery store. I also googled and found them here on Amazon.com. Hope that helps!
Welcome! Today I have a Papertrey Ink Quick and Easy Gift post to share with you. I had chosen the "Sip, Stir, and Enjoy" sentiment and cup to work with for our group post, planning to create a hot cocoa and mug gift set. Unfortunately, all I found at the store was Fall merchandise--no pretty Christmas mugs yet.
Then I wandered onto the coffee and tea aisle and found some sweet little Motts apple cider packets in Papertrey Ink colors--a match made in heaven! I picked out Pure Poppy, New Leaf, and Fine Linen--or Original Hot Spiced, Granny Smith, and Apple Pie, for the uninitiated. Next I found a jar of cinnamon sticks in the $1 spice jars, just what I needed to include in the bag. I used Papertrey Ink's Mat Stack 1 die to cut my cardstock, and then my PTI Pure Poppy and New Leaf inks to stamp the red and green frames, and Adirondack Latte to stamp the Fine Linen frame.
Buttons, ribbon, and Copic marker colors are all Papertrey Ink colors as well. I love the plaid on the frame as well as the little cup! The bag is Papertrey's Medium Glassine bag, and the topper is a 4" square of Kraft cardstock, scored in the center and stapled to the bag top.
These could be a ten-minute project--that's quick and easy!
Be sure to see what the rest of the Papertrey Ink Design team came up with--I know that I still need some great gift ideas. How about you?
