Yesterday my son brought in our first bag of apples for the season--Fall is just around the corner! The apples reminded me of the Falling Leaves set from my Papertrey Ink stash, so I had to pull it out to play with tonight. I paired it with Background Basics: Gingham, stamped in Versamark ink on a Pure Poppy background, and a sentiment from Tag Its #6. For the tree I used Versamagic Tea Leaves and Red Magic inks, and I added the sky with a Copic BG0000 marker very carefully afterward since chalk inks and Copic markers are not great companions. Additionally I used two Papertrey Ink dies, Tiny Tags and Picket Fence. Rustic twine is also a PTI product.
Have you been watching the Papertrey Ink reveals for this month? You won't want to miss today's group post of Gratitude Journals. I haven't seen all of them yet, but I've loved what I've seen. Nichole will have them all linked from her blog. Thanks for visiting!
