Welcome! I'm traveling again this week--headed to Lansing for Copic certification classes Friday and Saturday. I think I'm having paper crafting withdrawals: I haven't had time to make a card for the past two weeks! I still had one more in the blog cue stash for an emergency, and I guess that would be today. :-) A few weeks ago I had posted a card very similar to this one, except with no patterned paper and a more formal layout; I wanted to try a variation on that one after I got a sheet of this cool retro snowman paper.
Stamps used were from Papertrey Ink's Communique Curves set, with the silver-embossed stamp coming from the Holiday Button Bits set. Patterned papers is from Cosmo Cricket's Dear Mr. Claus line (Parson Brown). I kept the ribbon (PTI Pinefeather grosgrain) and button treatment relatively flat for ease of mailing, making this another ETM card--Easy to Make, Easy to Mail series.
Finally, I just wanted to give a shout out about Holiday Card Boot Camp! I created a sweet little Copic-colored Mo Manning card as my HCBC project. I can give away one place in Holiday Card Boot Camp too, so if you aren't already registered, leave me a comment to enter for a space. I will choose a winner via the random number generator from comments posted by Sunday evening at 9pm CDT, November 6, 2011. Would you like to know more about it? Check this out:
