It's hard to believe that I have been in Italy for almost two weeks now! I have a few more random pictures from the past three days to share.
One morning we were able to watch a master paper maker making paper from rag, the old fashioned way. Even though he spoke very few English words, he communicated beautifully!
This was a sketch that I did in a small town a couple of days ago. I inked the lines in town and then colored it with my Copic markers back at the studio that evening. This particular doorway captured my attention because it was one of the few that I have seem with a Gothic arch rather than a standard rounded arch.
This lovely little town was near Marmore Falls.
This morning we visited the famous Tivoli Gardens.
This is the same fountain, from the opposite end. I did a couple of sketches at Tivoli, but they were quick marker sketches, as in 10 to15 minutes. Not sure I should share those! Thank you for visiting.
