Welcome! When my Papertrey Ink box came this month, there was a sweet surprise inside--Funky Florals! This set has a fun, retro vibe that inspired me to try a color combination that I haven't tried before, and I liked it enough to make another card with it for the upcoming release too. :-) I love its layering possibilities, as well as its coordinating with dies that I already have (Notched Flowers for the blooms).
The Funky Florals stamp set is not for sale; it is a giveaway set that is still available for just a few more days before it's retired. I put the details at the very bottom of the post in case you're interested.
Ink colors are Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy,Harvest Gold, and Hibiscus Burst for the blossoms, and both Limeade Ice and and New Leaf for the library card envelope. Cardstock colors are Stampers Select White, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, Limeade Ice, and Hibiscus Burst. I used Limeade Ice wool felt for the leaves, cut with the Sending You leaves die. Additionally, I used the Spiral Notebook Page die and Chicken Wire and Aida impression plates.
Several of the PTI girls will have a Funky Florals project, so if you are looking for more, be sure to check Nichole's blog for a complete list of participants. Thanks for visiting!
Here's the small print: Funky Florals (a $15 value) will be available for customers as a FREE bonus with qualifying orders placed before 11:30pm EST, January 14th.
