Welcome! I've been playing with some new Papertrey Ink stamp sets for the August 15 release, but I still have a few sets from last month that I haven't used yet. One of those that was waiting patiently on my desk was the Polka Dot Parade #6 mini set--I just had to play with it tonight! The tree and leaves are from the Polka Dot Parade #6 set, but the grass is from Love Lives Here, and the sentiment is from Vintage Picnic Sentiments.
I did a bit of Copic Airbrushing in the background using a Copic BG13. I free-form cut a little cloud mask and purposely did not attach it firmly to the cardstock so that the edges would be soft, more cloud-like. The tree is stamped in PTI Kraft ink and the leaves in Simply Chartreuse. I used Enchanted Evening and Berry Sorbet for the sentiment, to pull in some colors from the October Afternoon Boarding Pass papers. I used two Spellbinders die template sets: A-2 Curved Matting Basics B and Grand Labels Eleven. I colored white silk ribbon with Copic R22 to add a little punch of color to the card front and sanded and stitched. That's about it--one more card for the stash! Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
