Welcome! I bet you're surprised that I have a BLUE baby card posted instead of a pink one, right? Well, someone very special to me has a little bundle of *boy* due pretty soon, so I thought it was high time I played with blue rather than pink. Today's JustRite Papercraft featured set is Special Delivery, and it's a darling vintage baby set!
I used the stork image, but the other images as well as the sentiments are perfect too--for baby showers, baby congratulations, adoptions, and may other baby occasions.
Please CLICK on the photo to see the Copic Marker numbers in a readable size. I used a Copic B45 with the Copic Airbrush System to airbrush through my Spellbinders Majestic Labels Twenty Five die template onto the pale yellow layer of cardstock.
Cardstock colors that I used were PTI's Spring Rain, Lemon Tart, and Vintage Cream. I stamped the stork image and sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa ink before coloring them with my Copic markers. How about that deeply embossed blue background layer? I'm loving my new Spellbinders 3D M-Bossabilities™ folders! This one is Persian Splendor, and it's large enough to cover a 5" x 7" card front. Finally, I used a Spellbinders Nested Pennants die template for the sentiment. (Oops--I can't find Nested Pennants on the Spellbinders site to link to, only its companion set, Nested Lacey Pennants. Sorry about that!) Interested in seeing more of the Special Delivery stamp set? You'll find plenty of inspiration on the following blogs! Thanks for stopping by.
