Pssst--I got a box last night. . . I actually have plenty of stamps, but when I saw this little Ballerina Beauty stamp set from Papertrey Ink, I knew that I needed it for a soon-to-be six-year-old niece. She is a strawberry blonde dancer and twirler for certain!
These are the Copic markers that I used to color the little ballerina image. I wasn't careful to fully blend the skirt/tutu, since I knew that I was putting glitter on top of it.
I used several Spellbinders products on my card; I experimented with a few stamped backgrounds, and they all seemed a little too busy for such a simple image. In the end, I chose to add texture with the Dainty Dots M-Bossabilities on MFT's Insulation Pink cardstock. To cut the focal image, I used an A-2 Curved Matting Basics B die template, and an A-2 Curved Matting Basics A die template for the card front. The little tag is cut with a Back To Basics Tags die template. I think my little dancing, twirling niece will love it!
