I have a stepped out tutorial on this little shadowbox card posted on the CLASSroom blog today. It's relatively simple, the only time-consuming part being trimming around the tree, but even that isn't bad. I love this Kim Hughes image with my Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg papers!

Good morning! I have a fall card posted on the CLASSroom blog today; it started out normally enough, and then my sense of humor kicked in when I was almost finished.
I haven't been loafing this week, honestly: I've been working on the new PaperTrey release most of the week. That means that I should have plenty to share next week. Did you see Lauren Meader's darling Holiday Tags preview yesterday? Heather Nichols is previewing her set today, and it's perfectly Heather--rustic, sweet, and well-thought-out. Dawn McVey has served another helping of her fabulous Vintage Ornaments--memories! Don't forget to check Nichole's blog as well; the amount of top-notch work she churns out for these reveals is amazing. . .

Have you been playing along with World Card Making Day challenges today? I have one posted on the CLASSroom blog that's a seasonal card challenge--a really simple one to complete, and with a fabulous prize, courtesy of Ellen Hutson, LLC. (You have to scroll down past the top post which gives directions for entering for the prizes. While you're at it, be sure to check out the new projects that were added today, and welcome designer Becky Olsen to the Ellen team too!)
Step-by step directions are available there for coloring the Nicholas and Kitty image (Lockhart) which I used with my Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly Mini Deck papers. The prize package for this challenge includes papers, cardstock, coordinating ribbon and the stamp, but you must follow instructions on the CLASSroom to enter for that package, got it?

It's a collage-y, stamp-y card for my husband. (He liked it in spite of the bit of embossed lace and tiny flower print--he's well trained!)

I have a post up on the Classroom blog today using some more of the new Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly line. I love these colors!
Also, how about a couple of pieces from the third brand new for CHA line--the Boyfriend. This is a greatline for some of you who need to scrap boy or teen pictures, but as a card maker, I enjoyed it too.
If you've ever had "test anxiety," I bet you can relate to this one! The focal image caught my eye from a 12" x 12" sheet--I could almost hear the emergency tones playing in the background with the "This is a test. This is only a test of the emergency broadcast system. . ." I paired it with the number 2 pencils and the classic multiple choice form on the bottom. (Scantron forms. Does that bring back memories nightmares for anybody?) I thought that this card would work well for anybody facing a big make-or-break test like final exams.

Good morning! I have a tutorial up for creating an enhanced jeans texture on the CLASSroom blog today, if you're still looking for Father's Day card ideas. It uses a CHF Denim backgrounder, white gel pen, a ruler/piercing template and piercing tool, a white Prismacolor pencil, and three Copic markers. It's easy-peasy too!
Remember the Card for Heroes Memorial Day blog hop? Swarovski Crystals is partnering with CFH to try to get 30,000 cards signed for troops.
