I enjoyed SO much reading your comments on why you craft! I was blessed and even occasionally moved to tears. {{{Hugs, my sweet friends, and thank you for blessing those around you with your gifts and talents!}}}

The best part of making cards is that it's a quick (well, that word is relative!) craft that you give away. Which means you can make more! You always need a card for somethin'...
and Connie Melancon (215):
I am new to card making and love the reaction to the one's I have made cards for. Makes me feel good to see people smile and that I had something to do with it.

Have you been playing along with World Card Making Day challenges today? I have one posted on the CLASSroom blog that's a seasonal card challenge--a really simple one to complete, and with a fabulous prize, courtesy of Ellen Hutson, LLC. (You have to scroll down past the top post which gives directions for entering for the prizes. While you're at it, be sure to check out the new projects that were added today, and welcome designer Becky Olsen to the Ellen team too!)
Step-by step directions are available there for coloring the Nicholas and Kitty image (Lockhart) which I used with my Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly Mini Deck papers. The prize package for this challenge includes papers, cardstock, coordinating ribbon and the stamp, but you must follow instructions on the CLASSroom to enter for that package, got it?
Now, for my WCMD giveaway: remember Tami's Christmas Sketchbook that I was telling you about a couple of days ago? Well, today I received an extra copy from PaperTrey Ink--thanks, Nichole! I'm going to share that copy here today, as well as a 12" x 12" package of one of my favorite Cosmo Cricket lines, Early Bird.
To enter, tell me what you love most about making cards or layouts--or any hand-crafted treasures that you like to make! I'll leave this post open through 9pm, CST, on Monday, October 5, though it won't remain at the top. I have one more card to try to churn out for the blog today. Good luck!
