Focus on Color: River Rock

Debbiedesigns_peacefulwish1 When I think through all six of the SU 2007-2008 In Colors, I have about a four-way tie for favorite, one "like it," and one that I haven't managed to warm up to yet.

I'll keep you guessing on the last two (though you might already know one from what I've said in previous posts), but I will tell you that one of my favorites is River Rock.

I played with Christmas cards last night--finished four more! All of these use primarily River Rock. Three include Purely Pomegranate as well. I used my SU Peaceful Wishes set and Mistletoe Wheel, as well as a greeting from SU's Star-Studded Season and one Elzybells greeting.

Debbiedesigns_peacefulwish11 In addition to River Rock and Pomegranate card stocks, I used Poison Ivory (like Shimmery White, but in Ivory), and gold metallic on the last one. For ink I used River Rock, a bit of True Thyme from last year's In Colors, and Purely Pomegranate.

For my third card, I added three tiny pearls because it still seemed to need something. Berries have been colored with a clear Gelly Roll pen.

Card number four has no pomegranate, but I think I still like it. I used a white Gelly Roll pen to color the mistletoe berries. My Christmas card stash is growing!  How is your stash coming?
