I think that this just might be the night for a quick post, seeing how late it is and that I'm still answering e-mail from the last two days and haven't had a chance to get downstairs yet for today's crafting "fix!"
I made this little soldered charm a few days ago and hadn't had a chance to post it yet. Finished glass size is 1" x 1-3/4". The little Lockhart Fleur Couture images are the perfect size for this application; this one is called Lavender and Primrose.
I stamped it in Black Brilliance ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock, then colored it with the Copic markers pictured on the left. I added some Spica glitter pen highlights in melon green, and clear. The clear blender with the blue mark on it is one of my two special blends--a few drops of B000 combined with the clear blender fluid for a very pale blue that works easily for adding soft color around an image. Finally, I soldered around the outer edges, then soldered a scrolled hanger on the top. (Ellen explained that whole process here.) Although you can't see it here, I added a piece of patterned paper to the back. You could use a second image on the back, or perhaps a stamped image on one side and a vintage photo on the other. . . Hmmmm! Ideas! Thanks for visiting!
