The proud new owner of a Cuttlebug Swirls A-2 embossing die is Christina (denman). Congratulations, have fun, and send me your address! I made Rick choose a number since Benjamin was sleeping. So it's all his fault! ;-) Seriously, some of you said that JoAnn's was out of the Swirl die. I found another place online last night to get these because J's didn't have the textile one that I wanted. The A-2 embossing folders were cheaper there too, BUT shipping is a flat rate $5.95. . . so you might want to consider ordering with a friend who could use some of these folders too.

I really debated whether or not to get the Big Pieces set; you can guess which side won the debate. (Hey, I resisted for a whole month!) But isn't it just seriously cute? I had Little Pieces, and I had Snow Flurries. I had Seeing Spots and Dotted. With all of those dots living on my shelves already, how could I discriminate against Big Pieces? It needed a loving home. (Now you can tell your husband that you are not the queen of rationalization; someone surpasses you. . .)
This is a mini card (3" x 3") with Pretty in Pink, Tempting Turquoise, Cool Caribbean, and Regal Rose inks. Card stock is Pretty in Pink, Tempting Turquoise, and Whisper White. I used a variety of circle punches, some SU and some non-SU. For the Pretty in Pink background layer, I dry embossed with a Cuttlebug Blooming Dot A-2 Embossing folder--a match made in heaven! Accessories include a pink mini brad and pink eyelets, as well as white organdy (all SU).
Have I started that Christmas cooking? No. . .
