I have used a Scor-Pal in the pictures below; it really is the simplest of the scoring tools to use for this particular pattern because of its 1/2" grooves. I have been asked if you can do the same thing using a Fiskars paper Trimmer or a different scoring tool. The answer is yes, but it takes more effort to keep the diagonal lines perfect since you can't really use the guide to align the paper. Have fun!
