A couple of days ago, my buddy Michelle Wooderson challenged a few of people to inchie-making with the new Organic Carrots and Dottie Bunny stamps by Karen Lockhart. That sounded fun, so I played. For me it wasn't such a challenge to make the inchies, but it was definitely a challenge to figure out how I would display them! I'm still trying to decide if those big Heidi Swapp flowers are working for me. . .
I colored two of the carrot images and one of the bunny images with my Copic markers, then cropped them to 1" square and mounted them on black matboard pieces. In looking for colorful paper, I ran across a pack of this Basic Grey Oh Baby! Girl Collection and decided that it would work with my colorful images. I matted each image using a Spellbinders Nestability Classic Scalloped die on black cardstock, then added a magnet to the back of each inchie.
I used a glue dot to hold the flowers on the background, then use a foam dimensional in the center of the flower so that the recipient could remove the magnets and use them, if desired. Ribbon is SU's Certainly Celery grosgrain. Begonia cardstock is by Memory Box.
