Tonight I wanted to show you one more PaperTrey Ink card made with Wedding Day and Boxes, Bags, and Tags. I had been looking through a couple of catalogs that I got at CHA, and I fell in love with the Webster's Pages catalog--so elegant and romantic! I pulled out a couple of sheets of paper to use, then I remembered that it had been a while since I'd done pure rubber stamping (or acrylic stamping--you know what I mean!) I have so many lovely papers here that I am reaching for them without thinking lately. . . I adore patterned papers, and I certainly don't intend to give them up! But I thought that tonight I'd just be inspired by a color scheme and create my own patterns from cardstock and ink. (I still have plans for those gorgeous papers! I just need to think about it more before I cut into them. . .)
The scrolls on the Prism Suede Brown Dark cardstock are stamped with Versamagic Aspen Mist ink, and the squared motif on the Prism Nautical Blue Light is stamped with Adirondack Hazelnut ink. The "Many thanks" sentiment on Neenah Natural White cardstock is stamped in Pearlescent Chocolate Brilliance ink. The scroll above and below the sentiment is the only piece that I used from Boxes, Bags, and Tags; all other pieces are from the Wedding Day set. The two little pieces of bling are A Muse micro dot twinkle stickers, and the butterfly is popped up on a bit of foam tape. I used my Spellbinders Classic Plain Oval dies to cut the sentiment layer and its mat (Prism Suede Brown Medium). That's it--stamped simplicity, because sometimes you need to make sure you remember how to do the basics.

A couple of announcements:
Several of you have written me saying that you were having a hard time finding the mini legal pads that I had picked up in a three-pack at WalMart, and had created a template for a few days ago. I looked online in several places that were recommended and could never find the same size. So I e-mailed Ampad and asked about them. Here is the response: I believe the item you are referring to is 20-398 3.5” x 5.25” 3 pack. Wal-mart no longer carries this item. I have no other dealers or retailers currently selling this item. The only way to purchase would be to customer order from a wholesaler. I would recommend the contacting the following wholesaler and tell them you would like to custom order Ampad item 20-398. It is highly possible that this item will be discontinued by Ampad in the very near future. Able Office Supply 800-870-6872 So, there you have it, a contact if you are one of the people who was asking me where you could find more of this size pad.
Reader Angie D. Sent me this link for a similarly sized notepad that IS available online; it's a little smaller at 3" x 5", but these might work for you too. Reader Paula also has a source for the 3" x 5" size, manufactured by Tops, and available through www.detroitpencilcompany.com. Reader Donna C says that she bought the mini legal pads in Staples, in *yellow* instead of white, at 3@$1.99. Thanks, Angie, Paula, and Donna!
The Card Positioning Systems blog was misbehaving yesterday so that artwork wasn't showing up; this morning it seems to be working again, so here's a link if you'd like to play along with Sketch 56. I'll post my take on it later this week.
