Have you seen the first of Nichole's sneak peeks? I love that little pop-up card that she created! Since I tend to be motion-card-challenged, I'm always amazed by motion or pop-ups. She also revealed her next two colors--Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet. I've been privileged to play with both, and they are fabulous. On my monitor, the Berry Sorbet looks almost startlingly orange, but in real life it is definitely not orange. To put in in terms that most of you can relate to, it's deeper in value than Cameo Coral, and perhaps a bit rosier. The Sweet Blush is pinker and less grayed than Blush Blossom, but warmer and paler than Pretty in Pink. They coordinate beautifully and look scrumptious with the new ribbons. Taylor also has a sneak peek up today, and Heather will have one up tomorrow (Tuesday). These are must-sees!
Next order of business, I thought I'd mention the new blog banner here since I'll be answering questions much of tomorrow otherwise! A couple of day ago, Emily Giovanni mentioned a new Shabby Princess Promise kit that was FREE. Free is good, right? Most free kits are small (and I'm grateful for those too!), but this one is huge and absolutely lovely. (It may take a while to download because so many people are trying to download it.) I used Shabby Princess Promise papers and design elements to make a blog banner in Adobe Photoshop Elements, then saved it as a .jpg file so that I could paste it into my blog header. I saved it at 670 pixels x 200 pixels for my blog; other blogs might require different sizes. I'm certainly no expert, but I do have fun playing with the digital kits The little tag is from a Shabby Miss Jen kit, Flea Market Baskets. Both the Shabby Princess AND Shabby Miss Jenn have fabulous ready-made blog wear. Unfortunately for me, my friend Sharon has already used the one I liked best from Shabby Princess, and my CPS friend Melissa has used the Shabby Miss Jen kit Flea Market Kit that I fell in love with. So, that gave me an excuse to play, ahem, work on one. If you have any digital skills at all, I would highly recommend both of these businesses as having top-notch kits.
I'm stamping tonight--need to finish up my PaperTrey release projects. I'll find something to share tomorrow night though. Thanks for visiting!
