Tonight I'd like to share a treat package that I made for the upcoming PaperTrey Ink release on August 15--Creepy Cracker Jacks using the new Spooky Sweets II set. On the sweetness scale for treats, Cracker Jacks definitely have more redeeming qualities than a candy bar, and I found them packages 3 boxes for $1.
I used a slanted wrapper, in keeping with the box's label and logo type--black cardstock stamped with PaperTrey's Polka Dot Basics in White Palette ink. For the Creepy Treats label, I used PTI's Spooky Sweets II set, stamped on Summer Sunshine Cardstock, matted with Plum Pudding cardstock die-cut with the new Spellbinders Pinking Nestabilities (available this month).
I stamped the cat in black ink on kraft cardstock and cut him out, except for his tail which I simply stamped on the Summer Sunshine layer; I thought it looked like a cat back lit by the moon this way. Twill tape is PTI's Plum Pudding, and jewels are A Muse Twinkle Stickers.
I haven't seen the other PTI Team takes on the Halloween Treat challenge yet, but Nichole is posting them tonight. For more detailed information on them, check out Amy's, Becky's, Dawn's, Geny's, Heather's, Lauren's, Lisa's, Mish's, and Niki's blog posts today. Thanks for visiting!
