Tonight I have an encouragement card to share, though it could be used as a sympathy card too. Sometimes simpler is better, and in the case of a serious illness or a sympathy card, I find that especially true. It's more important to get it there than to create a masterpiece!
I chose a sentiment from PaperTrey Ink's Quilter's Sampler Sentiments, and a background from Quilter's Sampler. Cardstock is Aqua Mist, and ink is both Aqua Mist and Ocean Tides (PTI), edged in Antique Linen Distress ink. I used a large gridded block for the quilt-square background, aligning the squares in the top left corner of a 1" area. That allowed me to stamp the background in three passes rather than having to align a multitude of squares.
For the bottom edge scallops, I used a Spellbinders Fancy Scalloped Pierceability Die, without the embossing or piercing. The tag is also a Spellbinders die, a double ended tags die.
Thank you for visiting, and have a lovely weekend!
