Today I have another Christmas card to share with you; the stash is growing slowly! I stated with a couple of Just Rite sets, Holiday Demi Phrases and a Merry Little Christmas, along with a 2" wooden stamper. I also used a Times New Roman 25pt. alphabet to spell out the "at Christmas and always" below the demi phrase.
I used a Spellbinders Classic Circle die to cut and mask my outer sentiment, as well as my Copic airbrush system and a B34 marker to add some blue. (I wanted to pull that blue out of the plaid patterned paper.)
I inked the inside with Memento Black and the greenery ring with Versamagic Spanish Olive, and used the Copic markers shown below to color the candle trio focal image.
Papers are The Merry Days of Christmas by My Mind's Eye. Ribbon is PaperTrey Ink's Scarlet Jewel--I love that color! A bit of sanding and sewing, and that's about it.
Kathy Jones, Lauren Meader, Sharon Harnist, Michele Kovack, Lisa Somerville, Sharon Johnson, and Angela Barkhouse, who's had some great school projects on the Just Rite Blog this past week, are also planning to use the same sets some time today; be sure to see what they've been up to! Thank you for visiting.
P.S. I just found out that there is a SplitCoastStampers review with an embedded YouTube video on how to use the 2" stamper, in case you've wondered how this all works. HTH!
