It's almost PaperTrey Ink Release time again! Today the PaperTrey team has some baby cards to share with you. I don't know about you, but I'm often at a loss for just the right words to go inside a card; I was really excited to see a great word set this month to help out with those challenging card insides--Inside and Out: Baby.
I chose sentiments for both the inside and outside from the Inside and Out: Baby set, along with one image from another fun set to be released this month, Baby Button Bits. I colored the outline letters in "one" with Copic Y21, Y32, and Y35 ( one from the Lemon Zest trio and two from the Summer Sunrise trio). The glitter on the bees winds (image from Baby Button Bits) are covered in Prisma Glitter.
On the outside of the card and the tag, I used Lemon Tart Vintage Buttons for the bee bodies. On the inside of the card, while I wanted the same look, I did not want the thickness of the buttons. So I punched small circles of Lemon Tart cardstock and coated them with Ranger Glossy Accents. After it was completely dry. I colored the edges with a Copic Y38 marker to create a shadow and give my relatively flat pieces some visual depth.
The card is 5-1/4" square, sized to fit the large square PaperTrey Ink envelopes. Patterned paper is last year's Bitty Baby Blessing paper. Be sure to visit the other PaperTrey girls to see how each of them has used Inside and Out: Baby. Thanks for visiting!
