Welcome to one of the *official* stops on the Papertrey Ink Egg Hunt!
Look closely and you may find
a hidden egg that's one-of-a-kind.
Perhaps there are more than one or maybe even none!
The challenge is yours, enjoy and have fun!
If you are starting out here, make sure that you stop by Nichole's Blog to read about all the details along with the GRAND Prize affiliated with this fun contest!
Spring will return again, one of these days, so it's really not too early to be thinking of little gift bags and cards. I'm sharing a card and a coordinating treat box using PaperTrey Ink's new Egg Hunt set.
If my husband and son can pick any treat they want, they generally chose either frosted sugar cookies or chocolate chip cookies, fresh out of the oven. Which one is more work? The frosted sugar cookies, of course, so they don't get them quite as often. Lucky for them that I needed a little gift to go with my Egg Hunt card, wasn't it? Trust me--they're not complaining. . .
For my card I used the new Basket Card Base, stamped with Background Basics: Tin Types, and Egg Hunt. The eggs are stamped in Lavender Moon, Spring Moss, and Plum Pudding. I used Plum Pudding Saddle Stitched Grosgrain to tie around my basket card top.
For the cookie box, I used an older PTI template, Fold 'n Go. I used an oval die to cut a window, and then backed the cut-out with a clear window sheet. In addition to Egg Hunt, I used Background Basics: Tin Types, stamped in Plum Pudding ink on Kraft cardstock, and dotted with a white paint pen in the centers.
Be sure to see what the rest of the PTI crew has come up with--we've all been busy! Thanks for visiting.
