Welcome to one stop on the new April Releases JustRite blog hop! I chose my favorite new set to play with, By the Sea, which fits the Large Oval Wood Stamper.
Even though my patterned paper needed a cream rather than stark white base, I stamped my image on Papertrey's Stamper's Select White anyway. I did it that way because I wanted my sails and water foam to be white rather than cream. The top layer with the sentiment on it, I stamped on cream cardstock. Patterned papers are from October Afternoon's the Thrift Shop 8" x 8" pad.
I used the Copic markers shown above--yes, a lot of them!--as well as a chocolate and a sand Spica Glitter pen. For dies, I used Spellbinders Classic Plain Oval Nestabilities, a Labels Eight die, and a Deckled Scalloped Edge Border die; it's that tiny one under the red ribbon. It made me think of waves. Button, rustic twine, and red grosgrain are all from Papertrey Ink.
