Good morning! I just finished the tag for a little gingerbread felt ornament that I've been stitching lately, so I thought I would pop up a post today.
I used this gingerbread man die to cut two layers of Papertrey's Dark Chocolate felt. Next I added the buttons and face so that the stitches would be concealed inside the gingerbread man. I then blanket-stitched around the edges with a single layer of off white heavy duty thread (hand-quilting thread), loosely stuffing him with polyester fiberfill as I was stitching.
I used the Tiny Treats Christmas set to stamp the tag sentiment and the gingerbread man and then colored him with Copic markers (E53 and E55, as well as a red and Chocolate Spica glitter pen for features). The tag is tied on with Pure Poppy bakers twine. The tag is a Papertrey die cut which I cannot find on the website right now to save my life; if I find it later, I'll link. . .
I'm playing with some of these cut from chipboard as well--thinking that they would make a great kids' project. Thanks for stopping by!
P.S. I was supposed to post this yesterday--oops. . .
