I was absolutely ecstatic to see Papertrey Ink's Love Lives here set this month! With Nichole's illustrative and conceptual skills, and with Melissa's heart, how could you possibly go wrong? For today's Papertrey Ink group post, we have all used the new Love Lives Here set to create both a gift item and a card.
For my felt and muslin banner, I used last month's Boxy Banner and Banner Border dies, along with Limitless Layers 1-3/4" Circle Collection dies and new (coming on December 15) coordinating dies for Love Lives Here. Papertrey felt is Vintage Cream, Ocean Tides, Blueberry Sky, and Harvest Gold--good Swede colors! That little house and heart are the sweetest!
Ribbon is Papertrey's 1/8" white silk.
Don't you think this would make a sweet housewarming gift for a young couple? (That is, if it makes it out of my craft room! ;-})
Not only is Love Lives here perfect for creating gift items, but it makes sweet cards too. I can see using it for Valentines, wedding, anniversary, and Just-Because-I Love-You cards. Here I've paired it with an older PTI set, Fancy Flourishes, and a newer one that you'll be seeing more of in a few days (check Dawn's blog) to make a wedding card for a musical friend and her husband-to-be.
I accented it with pearls, a pink rhinestone heart (A Muse), and some tea-dyed seam binding. The focal image is stamped on a shape cut with Papertrey's Mat Stack Four die.
Be sure to see what the other girls did with Love Lives Here; I'm sure the ideas will be fabulous!
