Welcome to a second January Papertrey Ink group post! Today we have all created a birthday card and tag set showcasing the new 2011 Birthday Tags set as well as a fabulous birthday font set, Big Birthday Wishes. Big Birthday Wishes will be available on January 15, but the 2011 Birthday Tags set will be available a little later--hopefully next week. My ten-year-old will be eleven next month, so I created a card and gift tag appropriate for a boy.
For cardstock I used Blueberry Sky, Orange Zest, Chartreuse, and Stamper's Select White. In addition to the 2011 Birthday Tags set and the Big Birthday Wishes sets, I used the Limitless Layer 1-3/4" Circle Collection, as well as several new Papertrey Ink dies and a new impression plate--all coming on January 15! If you can see the shimmer on the Blueberry Sky cardstock, I rubbed my Versamark Dazzle ink pad onto the cardstock. It darkened what was not debossed and added some subtle shimmer as well.
