Welcome! This is a quick post since I'm packing for Minneapolis tonight. I have a couple of cards to share that we will be making in a class on Tuesday night at Scrapbooks Ltd. Too in Bloomington, Minnesota. Lori Craig will also be teaching two cards.
I chose the Inky Antics Buggy Friends set for the first card, paired with some Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety papers and the Copic markers shown above. I used a Spellbinders Large Labels die for the sentiment mat layer.
Next is this little Inky Antics Cupcake Birdie--the inside sentiment is "Happy Birthday with a Cherry on Top!" Paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird line. I used a Spellbinders Standard Circle Small die to cut the bird image and colored him with the Copic markers shown below.
Finally, there is a BIG Spellbinders blog event that I'll post links for later tonight. You will have to go to the Spellbinders blog to sign up for prizes, but it is WORTH the click--very nice prize package! I can put only a peek of my card up tonight, but I'll share steps later. Also, the full card will be posted on the Spellbinders blog later tonight, along with another newly introduced set by my talented friend Latisha Yoast. Again, the contest entry is on the Spellbinders blog--not by commenting on our personal blogs, though we always appreciate the feedback. :-)
