Oh, happy day--my new Cosmo Cricket Odds and Ends papers arrived today! I finished up a couple of Spellbinders projects today that I can share next week, so I'm ready to play with these papers now. My initial impression is that these remind me of all of the reasons that I was initially drawn to Cosmo Cricket--playful vintage sweetness, bright enough to be happy--with a little smattering of Dutch Girl and Little Girl (remember those beauties?), updated with a hint of Circa 1934. At least, that's may take on it. ;-)
These papers are from the Odds and Ends Mini Deck. The focal image is from one of the Odds and Ends 12" x 12" papers (Odds and Ends Scraps). I used some wrinkled seam binding for the double bow, along with a Maya Road heart pin and a Papertrey Ink Vintage Button. Leaves are cut and embossed with a Spellbinders Foliage die from kraft cardstock. A bit of sewing and distressing, and that's it--my first Odds and Ends card! Thanks for stopping by.
