Welcome! I've been playing with pocket cards in my spare time and thought I would share one today. I used Papertrey Ink's Front & Center Die #1, squared up the edges, scored and folded it at 4" from the plain end, and stitched the sides close to the edge. Next I used a corner rounder to round the top corners, as well as the corners on my insert card. The resulting card ends up being a little smaller than a standard card, but it's close enough that it still looks fine in a regular A-2 sized envelope.
For the front panel I used the Fillable Frames #4 die stamped with an image from Think Big Favorites #9. I used the Parisian Lace Doily die to cut a half doily and the Christmas Poinsettia die to cut the flower and leaf. For the card insert I used a sentiment from Star of Wonder and the poinsettias from Christmas Poinsettia. Papers are from Echo Park's Season's Greetings collection.
That's it for tonight! Tomorrow night I will post some cards from the November Papertrey ink release--can't wait! Thanks for stopping by.
P.S. Edited to add--Several of the PTI girls have already used this die for pocket cards--I can't take credit for that idea! I'm pretty sure that I saw some by Mish Wooderson and Betsy Veldman for starters, and probably some of the others girls too!
