We've been on a combination of a family wedding trip and vacation for several days now. It's hard to believe that it's almost Christmas! I got a batch of cards sent today--shamefully late. I've decided that as long as they are postmarked before Christmas, I get credit for sending them anyway. Right?
Today I have the third felt ornament to share, a smaller pair of mittens than the single mitten that I posted a couple of days ago. This pair is about 2-1/8" x 3", cut from Papertrey Ink's Scarlet Jewel Wool Felt with a Spellbinders Paper Arts Nested Mitten die template. The cream felt trim is cut with a Banner Basics Three die template, and the greenery from Simply Chartreuse Wool Felt with the Petal Pack Punch Templates.
I blanket-stitched both mittens with cream quilting thread and used a Scarlet Jewel Vintage Button to finish the trim. A length of rustic twine holds the mittens together to be draped over a tree branch.
This is probably my last post before Christmas. May you be blessed with much love and joy!
