Just a quick note before I start my regular blog post: If I have any readers in the Kansas City, Missouri area who are interested in attending a Copic Intermediate Certification on Saturday, August 18, I would LOVE to hear from you! I have a certification scheduled already, but we have only four people signed up so far. I'm hoping for at least six to eight more people. Any takers? See this page for details. Thanks!

Woohoo! I saw that the Papertrey Ink Cover Plate Hexagon die is back in stock now, so I can finally post this birthday card that has been queued up for a couple of weeks now. It's a simple one, but I was pleased with how it turned out nevertheless. I die cut two Hexagon Cover Plate shapes, one in Aqua Mist and One in Rustic White. I trimmed the edges of the Aqua Mist frame slightly so that I would have a bit of the white edge of the card base showing, and then I stamped images from the Happy Hexagons stamp set in Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, and Simply Chartreuse.
I stamped a sentiment from the Happy Hexagons Mini Set on a PTI Double Ended Banner die cut, then trimmed it to fit my card front. How simple is that? I love Happy Hexagons and that Hexagon Cover Plate! It reminds me of quilting, except without the huge time commitment. :-) That's it for today--thank you for stopping by.
