Welcome! Today I had a chance to play with my dear friend Becca Feeken's Amazing Paper Graces October Kit stamp set, It's Sew Vintage, shown below.
What do you think? I think it's another totally Becca set--vintage, sweet, versatile, and meaningful!
This is the coordinating die template set, Vintage Frame Label and Spool Topper (also part of the October kit).
In Addition to Becca's It's Sew Vintage set, I also used JustRite's Lace Background Stamp--{{{swooning over this one!}}} I stamped it in Versamagic ink on cardstock-weight vellum, and them heat embossed it with detail white embossing powder. However I didn't really like the super-white, shiny look. I found that I really liked the back side, however; so I cut it out and used the back side of the embossed piece. It reminds me of those plastic Battenburg Lace-looking place mats that my grandmother used to have--remember those? Besides the custom die set shown above, I used three of my Spellbinders Paper Arts die templates: Venetian Accents for the trim piece, Labels Fourteen for a mat layer, and Grand Labels Twenty-Three for the card base and base layer of patterned paper. Patterned Papers are from Lily Bee Designs Head Over Heels Tiny Tablet.
