So, I finished painting my kitchen Tropical Lagoon this afternoon. . . That's a far cry from its fourteen years in pure white! I'm still trying to decide if I like it or not; but since it took me two days to paint, I think I'll keep it for a while anyway. :-) Of course I felt like making a bright card to follow up that bright kitchen! I needed a cheery card for a friend who is facing some serious health issues. PTI's Bigger Blooms stamp set seemed like just the ticket, along with a sentiment from Healing Touch Sentiments.
For ink colors I used Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunshine, Orange Zest, Simply Chartreuse, and True Black. I cut a few accent blossoms with the Bigger Blooms die and added glitter to the flower centers. The background paper is from the Hibiscus Burst Pattern Pack, and I used the Spiral Notebook Page die to cut both the focal image and a Hibiscus Burst mat layer. I used a length of pink bakers twine to tie a bow at the top. I hope it will give my friend a bit of encouragement!
