It's the last day of the JustRite Papercraft September Release, and I have to tell you that I had a hard time deciding which of today's sets to use. . . If in doubt, pick the one on which you can COLOR the most, right? I'll pull the Baking Antique Tags One set out later this month, I promise; but ended up choosing the Amy Tedder Frog and Water Lily Clear Stamps set for today.
Isn't this sweet? The illustrations remind me of some in an old Alice in Wonderland book that I once had.
I stamped the image in Memento Espresso Truffle ink. These are the Copic Markers that I used to color the image. I really should have tried the waterlilies in yellows instead of pinks; most of the waterlilies near our house are yellow rather than white or pink. But you know me and pink. . .
The dragonfly is stamped separately, trimmed closely, glittered, and mounted with foam tape.
Dies that I used on this card were the Spellbinders Standard Circles LG for the focal image, Grand Circles for the pink layer, and Stately Circles for that lacey outer layer. I used Grand Circles again for the card base, and I dyed my seam binding with Copic reinkers to coordinate with the pinks in the waterlilies.
