Before I share my Thanksgiving card, Happy Labor Day! It seems like this has been a short summer--that's what happens as we get older, isn't it? We had a beautiful weekend here, with temperatures finally dropping a bit, and we already have a few leaves starting to change colors as well. It's not even a stretch to be getting into the Fall/Winter design mode! Today's card uses a few JustRite Papercraft stamps, including one new set, Autumn Vintage Labels Three Clear Stamps (shown below), paired with a couple of previously released stamps, Autumn Swirl Background Stamp and Leafy Background Stamp.
These are the Copic markers that I used to color the image. (Click if you need a larger image.)
See that pretty hatpin? It's a Spellbinders Circle Hatpin. I stamped part of the wreath on a scrap of cardstock, colored it, cut it to fit into the Circle Hatpin, and then added some Crackle Accents to the top of the image. I hand-dyed the seam binding with reinkers from several of the Copic colors shown above.
To cut the card front and base, I used a Spellbinders Curved Matting Basics A die template. The Terracotta-colored layer is cut with a Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight die template; the wreath layer with a JustRite Papercraft Vintage Labels Three die template; and the sentiment layer with a Classic Ovals Small die template.
