Welcome! Who likes ice cream? Today's JustRite Papercraft September release is a sweet Amy Tedder set, The Scoop Vintage Labels Four Clear stamp set. I had a hard time choosing which image to use--almost as hard a time as I have choosing ice cream flavors when there are multiple choices available! Eventually I settled on the soft serve cone because it looked like it would be fun to color. (How's that for reasoning?)
See--three different coloring images, and plenty of sentiments!
These are the Copic Markers that I used; I labeled a blank sheet of where I used each color since it's hard to tell with all of that pink. (Click for a larger picture.)
If you saw THIS POST a couple of days ago, you might have seen that I had a little problem with the white embossing powder coming off on my Copic marker. I solved that problem today by using a Q-tip swab and a drop of reinker to tint my letters. No more white marker tips!
I used a few dies: a JRP Vintage Labels Four die for that black sentiment panel, a Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Eight die template for the pink layer behind it, a Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight as the soft white lacey layer behind the pink, and A-2 Matting Basics A for the card front. I also used Filigree Leaves Background Stamp Cling stamp for the background layer, embossed in a cream embossing powder. (Sorry, but it's from a company that no longer exists, though I'm sure that somebody must still make vanilla embossing powder!)
