Welcome! It's been an exciting week here; the biggest news is that my new nephew made his grand appearance early. I know that my sister and her family are happy to have him here! I had already posted my baby cards last week, so today's card is a friendship card that has been floating around on my desk while I tried to decide whether the JustRite Vintage Labels Five die cut in the background should be on red cardstock or cream cardstock--decisions, decisions. . . As you can see, I finally decided upon the cream cardstock, but used my Copic Airbrush System and an R27 marker to give it a bit of red anyway.
I had stamped the background in Colorbox Lipstick Red chalk ink using JustRite's Rose Garden Background Cling Stamp. The focal image is stamped with the Black-Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Five Clear Stamp set. I hand-dyed the seam binding with Copic R24 and R27 inks. My double-bow shortcut is that I just tie a second bow and use a mini glue dot to attach it on top of the first. :-)
That's it for today--thanks for visiting!
