I am delighted to be guest-posting on the My Favorite Things Stamps blog today and tomorrow! When I saw MFT's Pure Innocence Just the Way You Are focal image, I knew that it would be perfect for the young recipient whom I have in mind.
Shown above are the Copic markers that I used to color the Pure Innocence Just the Way You Are image.
For my card inside, I used Die-Namics Blueprints 15 for the pink mat layer, then stamped the focal image in MFT's Pink Lemonade Premium Dye Ink Pad, and the sentiment in the Black Licorice Hybrid Ink Pad.
To add that pale blue glow around the PI Just the Way You Are girl, I used Copic BG000, softened on the edges with Colorless Blender. To cut the card front, windmill mat layer, and star, I used the Die-Namics Blueprints 15 die set. (I punched a 1/16" hole in the star to turn it into a tag.) For the ribbon, I dyed a length of white rayon seam binding with Copic R21 Various Inks (re-inker). Patterned papers are from Echo Park's 6 x 6 Splendid Sunshine pad.
That's it for today. A huge thank you to MFT Stamps for all of this paper-and-ink goodness!
