Welcome! It's Day four of the My Favorite Things Stamps Countdown, and I'm here to share a fun card made with the Birdie Brown Recipe for Happiness stamp set. I love this little chef! He's perfect for a variety of occasions, and he's quick and easy to color as well.
Shown above are the Copic Markers that I used to color the little chef. I used mostly the same ones on the inside image and the outside image, except for backlighting the chef on the inside with YR30.
Here is the inside of my card. I had fun playing with his shadow! I'm thinking that it might need to be a little thicker though. . . I mean, he really likes to cook! ;-)
I used the Distressed Patterns stamp set for the background, along with Grout Gray ink and cardstock cut with Die-namics Blueprints 15. That patterned paper is from the Fresh Squeezed Chevron paper pack, also cut with Die-namics Blueprints 15. Finally, I heat embossed my sentiment with detail white embossing powder and cut it with Die-namics Stitched Fishtail Flags STAX. I sprinkled glitter on the salt and pepper shakers, though you have to be in just the right light to see it. That's it--pretty simple!
