Welcome! It's Day 3 of the My Favorite Things Stamps July Release Countdown, and I cheated just a little bit on today's "birthday" card. I knew that I wasn't posting on July 4, so I wanted my Cupcake Day Card to do double duty for the Fourth of July. So, just picture her in other patterned papers and without the stars if that doesn't work for you, okay? :-}
Shown above are the Copic markers that I used to color the Cupcake Day images. I airbrushed the background with my Copic Airbrush System, leaving my Dynamics Inside and Out Stitched Rounded Rectangle die in place as a mask.
I used my trusty Blueprints 15 for the outer border, along with Stitched Fishtail Flag STAX for the dark blue band. Patterned papers are from last month's Sweet Sunshine 6 x 6 Paper Pack.
