Welcome! In continuation of the My Favorite Things Stamps Tenth Birthday Celebration, the MFT team was asked to pick our top ten favorite MFT cards that we've made. Hmmm, is that something like picking your favorite child? Okay, maybe not THAT traumatic, but close! I've finally settled on the ones below, in no particular order. (I deleted six cards. It was painful. . .)
I'll start with an older one. This Supergirl card is from March 2015, posted HERE. You know I like a stamp set when I use it multiple times! Since I liked two Supergirl cards, it was only right that she make the cut. ;-)
June 2015's Watercolor Flowers made my list too. Multi-layered flowers + pink = happiness!
It would be wrong not to include a gnome, right? I have another idea percolating for the gnome set; I just need to order the coordinating Die-namics. . .
I liked how this Mini Modern Blooms card worked out, especially since I'm clean and simple challenged. . . (My post was HERE, but more information was HERE on MFT's Blog.) I've pulled out the Mini Modern Blooms stamp set sooooo many times when a card needed "just a little something" still. And that Distress Patterns Background set? One of my closest stamp-friends. . .
This Sweet Safari cards was fun to make. (Yes, yes I do like making jungles out of die-cut leaves!) It was posted HERE on my blog, but in more detail on the MFT Blog HERE.
Here's another clean and simple one that I liked from January 2016. Hmmm, as much as I like clean and simple, maybe I should go there more often?
Shall I Strike Up the Band for this little guy? Yellow and blue together? Almost as high on my happy scale as pink. In this card, I liked the depth that stamping the second band member in gray and coloring him with lighter values helped make.
I had to include the Piggy card from June 7. He's a cutie, and that flip-flop Die-namics is very cool!
I can't leave out You're Rawr-some--love those dinos, and love pop-ups! (There's also an airbrushing/pop-up tutorial for that card HERE.)
Finally, I'll leave you with "May the Forest Be with You!" I loved the fox peeking out with one eye, and I loved the cleverness of the sentiment stamps in this set as well.
Again, supply lists are below in the same order as the cards appeared. Be sure to check the MFT Stamps Blog for a complete list of participants in today's Top Ten! Thank you for visiting,
Have a SUPER Day
