Welcome! It's July 5--time for Power Poppy's Digis on the 5's again. I loved this old-fashioned beehive, surrounded by foxglove and cosmos in Sweet, Simple Things; and after this last week of colliding deadlines, I have to admit that I love that it didn't take long to color too! ;-}
Along with the image file, there are also two lovely sentiment files, shown above.
Listed above are the Copic Sketch markers that I used to color the Sweet, Simple Things image. In addition to my Copic Sketch markers, I also used a 0.3 Wine Copic Multiliner because I needed to get those tiny markings on the inside of the foxglove blossoms, and Multiliners worked better for such a tiny space than my Sketch markers would have.
Before the 0.3. Wine Multiliner in the Foxglove throats
After the 0.3. Wine Multiliner in the Foxglove throats
Here's a comparison. See the difference? I was glad that I happened to have a Wine-colored Multiliner when I googled "Foxglove" and saw those dots! (Please Note: The Multiliner in my picture is a Multiliner SP, but the Wine Multiliner SP is out of stock. I did see that Wine Multiliners [the regular/disposable kind] are currently in stock in the 0.5 point size though. Wine must be a popular color!)
Several of the Power Poppy Instant Gardeners had a chance to use today's Sweet, Simple Things digital image, and I'm guessing that some of the regular Power Poppy Bloom Brigade will have cards to share as well! If you'll check the Power Poppy Blog, you will find a complete list of today's participants. Thanks for stopping by,
