Welcome! Today I have a lovely Power Poppy Instant Garden (digital) image to share called Apples in Season. When I colored my apples, I was thinking of the apple trees in our front yard; one has thinner-skinned apples only slightly redder than green, and with pink streaks in the white apple flesh. I thought it was called a Transparent, but when I looked up Transparent Apples tonight, I was wrong--transparent apples are usually green or greenish gold. (We have a tree of those too.) So I really don't know what kind of apple I colored--feel free to enlighten me if you live near Zone 3 and have any idea what I'm describing! (It's fairly tart and crunchy, if that helps--probably considered a pie apple, though I think it's a perfect eating sweetness, and it makes great dried apples. It looks like pictures of Jonamacs or Cortlands, perhaps.) Hmmm, I'm rambling. . .
Apples in Season includes a lovely apples image and a beautiful coordinating sentiment as separate files. (I like to mix and match sentiments from my digital sets.)
Shown above are the Copic Markers that I used to color the Apples in Season image. I colored on X-Press It Blending Card.
You can check the Power Poppy Blog for a complete list of participants using today's Apples in Season image; I linked the ones that I know about down below--enjoy!
